Bacteria - The Mechanism Of Bacteria And Your Health

Know the culture inside

There are several bacteria culture found in the body and they are given with a different term just to differentiate them from other bacteria found in other places.  The given term for these bacteria is "intestinal microflora," in which flora stand for flowers or plants.  These are microscopic living organisms however they are also popular with the given term intestinal microbiota.  Biota is the term that denotes the microbacterial culture living specifically in the intestinal tract.

 

Majority of these microscopic organisms found in the intestine are bacteria and they compose more than 50% of feces' mass.  You can count a thousand of intestinal bacteria species in this part of the body.  Around 99% of the intestinal bacteria are included in the Escherichia coli species.  And almost all of these bacteria are anaerobic or can live without requiring oxygen.

 

One of the predominant bacteria found in the colon is the Bacteroides.  This bacteria genus is also helpful bacteria in carbohydrate fermentation to create volatile fatty acids.  However, this type of bacteria can also be a problem if it penetrated in different body parts like the peritoneal cavity.  This infection occurs when the digestive tract has been subjected to trauma and other gastrointestinal medical problems like appendicitis.  Bacteroides fragilis, species found under this genus, is another bacteria that produce abscess to protect them from antibiotics.

 

But aside for these bacteria, there are others that grow in stools of individuals who eat meal and can produce extreme toxic material in the body. 

 

There are other bacteria that can cause food poisoning like Salmonella.  These bacteria are often found in poultry eggs.  Another bacteria is E.coli, which is known as unhealthy for the body.  The truth is that they are not that harmful but as long as they will not overpopulate.  There are studies however that show E.coli strains to release toxins unhealthy to humans.
